It’s likely difficult for anyone who did not support Hillary to maintain some semblance of calm while watching the childish tantrums that have erupted all over our nation. I’ve had my own rants. But while watching it all, I am reminded that this is a mental illness on display. This is the mental illness of egalitarianism, of mental dysgenics caused by nearly 100 years of eroding what this nation once was built on into afterthoughts; rules that worked, traditions that worked, now laid waste to serve our Almighty Feelings.
This is mental illness on display:
With no understanding of the difference between democracy (mob rule) and a Republic, our children and adult children (like Sorkin and all of his celebrity ilk) believe that their feelings matter more than the good of the nation—the long term good. Having been told (and believing) all their lives that their feelings, their ‘rights’, and their status has meaning that is lifted higher than the good of the civilization, these mentally-ill children have no realization of the disease they are infected with. A disease as old as time: the mob mentality.
A Republic requires order, as does the universe. It will spit out that which will do damage to its systems, thus its inhabitants, without remorse. It does so without remorse because the universe, nor a Republic, has any interest in feelings. It is interested in its own mortality, and that of its inhabitants. The Republic, like the universe, can be an ugly thing at times. But not 1/10th as appalling at the chaotic entropy of democracy and mob rule.
As we can see above, such entropy whittles its mob down to shells of humanity, unable to cope with the basic realities such as voting and the outcome of an election. This mob is as easy to spin into a frenzy as a group of hornets whose nest has been disturbed. And swarm they will, destroying anything in their paths, with no regard whatsoever for their own good, the good of those around them, or the long term good of the nation.
They hold to silly ideals instead for meaning. Such as global warming, equality, and ‘rights.’ With little to no understanding of anything of substance, the mob depends on itself and stronger forces to sway it. It will stare into the abyss forever without bothering to notice, and if the abyss commands it, the mob will turn on the light and attempt to destroy whatever it is told to destroy.
The mob is mental illness on a macro level, and it is on full display at the micro level, as those who did not get their way express themselves like children. Crying, whining, lashing out, and bemoaning anything they disagree with.
The cure for it all will not be pretty, nor should it be. Unity? There will be no more of that until things are made clearer, and broken societal and Republic rules are harder and faster to be met with consequences.
